Fire Safety Boxes
Safes that protect against fire are usually made of thin steel sheets (or sometimes plastic) molded to form an inner and an outer layer. These units are filled with an insulating material to keep the temperature inside the box under a given point for a fixed period of time. Burglary Safes
Burglar safes are usually solid steel plate or a combination of solid steel and composite fill material like concrete. These safes are divided into categories based on the level of protection and produced evidence to bear. Here we will discuss only four classes, B-Rate, C-Rate, UL and UL TL-15 TL-30
B-Rate Safes

C-rate Safes

TL-15
Safes given a UL TL-15 rating have passed standardized tests defined in UL Standard 687 using the same tools and usually the same group of test engineers. TRTL-30 – The rating denotes a safe TRTL which successfully resisted 30 minutes net working time, with a torch and a series of tools that can include exercise high speed and carbide bits saws, crowbars, and impact devices.
Fire Rating
Class 350 1-Note fire in a minute – to get this qualification, the box is heated for one hour to reach an exterior temperature of 1550 degrees, is placed through the cooling of the test. During this time the insurance must maintain an interior temperature of less than 350 degrees.
Class 350 2-degree fire for one hour – The safe is heated for two hours to reach an outside temperature of 1550 degrees and must maintain an interior temperature of less than 350 degrees for this qualification.
