What is the dialing sequence for the opening of a Mosler safe. I have the combination, but can not get it open?

How many numbers in the combination? It makes a difference. If a number n in the combination. Turn the dial clockwise completely about n times, and stop at the first number. Then turn the dial counterclockwise completely around (n-1) times, and stop at the second number. Then turn the dial clockwise completely around again (n-2) times, and stopping at the third number. Continue until you run out of numbers.
