I've been an avid collector of airsoft electric guns and all the different types of guns compressed air for most of my life, although in recent years have seen my enthusiasm for collecting decrease slightly. Things like a wedding, the birth of my first child and a promotion at work has eaten up the little free time to enjoy. I still love my mind that air guns, these days is just a matter to prioritize things and my love of collecting and shooting usually falls in the road as the family comes first.
Even with all the new responsibilities they have undertaken recently, my new neighbor shares the same passion for air and air pistols do. In the past two years have been very busy for me, I ended up moving all my weapons in storage as I have not found time for them, but my neighbor to be so curious as to what my collection is so bizarre that I have been bringing some of my air rifles to share with him. I'll be the first to admit that his collection also dwarfs mine and I've always considered myself hardcore fans of the air guns and the like.
After sharing our collections and stories with others, I was invited to shoot with him again in his yard rear. Upon receiving this invitation I took some more of my guns, and cleaned them up next weekend. I was pleasantly surprised how few my arms had kept over the past two years as I expected to be much more dirty and in need of some work around. This made the cleaning process more pleasant and all that remained was to do was buy some pellets and BB.
Our weekend of air guns and barbecue arrived quickly it was good that I was too eager to pitch again. When I reached my neighbor showed me his backyard and was astonished at how much detail had takes place in a makeshift shooting range. Where, of course, four firing positions complete with the objectives of these, a pitcher of clay pigeons and a row of cans of cola to get shot. Seeing all this played with my back to the days when he had first started collecting as a young teenager.
My neighbor and I spent what seemed like an hour but was actually shot around six hours to get our hands on. The action was stopped only because they were left without buckshot and rubber bullets. I came with pistols and an air rifle and three firearms is a well-earned work. Finding time to spend a few hours anywhere but my house is difficult, but fortunately My wife understands the importance of something like this for me and so we now have a schedule that allows me to participate in my hobby, once again, and on a regular basis too!
